Rumbi Petrie is a business woman and founder of the Super Apple Brand. Rumbi had a rough start in life, as a young girl, through to early adulthood as the whip of tragedy seemed favour her and strike repeatedly. From childhood sexual abuse, to teenage rape; all the way to surviving violence, depression and anxiety. Yet against all the odds, Rumbi survived and went on to study a Bachelor degree in Fashion and Textiles.

One of her most defining moments in life came a few years ago, as life seemed to be getting back to ‘normal’, when her father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  Rumbi begged her father to teach her to cut meat at their family butchery  as he went through intensive radiotherapy. This is how her colourful career in butchery and business management was birthed. Her already existing entrepreneurial skills now had somewhere they could be nurtured and sharpened. Thankfully, her father was completely healed, by the power of Jesus.

Rumbi’s faith is the most pivotal part of her life and she attributes her success and complete recovery to the power in Jesus.

Rumbi now uses her experiences in life to motivate others 

When she is not  being a homemaker and business woman , she immerses herself into serving God through Worship as a Church Worship Leader.

Her witty and quirky humour are the highlight of her character and what makes her an insatiable winner. She also loves the art of cooking, exercise, singing, fashion and travel with her best friend and husband Mr J Petrie.
