2 Identify something of utmost importance to you…
The simpler and uncomplicated you make it, the easier it will be to accomplish. Try picking one thing only. Ask God to reveal to you what it is you should be doing, He will show you. Ask for His leadership and guidance throughout.
3 How bad do you want it?
Write down why you are doing this one thing and what consequences will be suffered if you don’t. Really think about how tired are you of staying in your current situation an how you want it to change. You need to want it enough. Most of the time it’s rarely about will power, but really about how badly we want the situation to change that leads to change. If a fire were burning under your feet would you still stand here smiling?
4 Make a Plan..
A plan is a map or a drawing of where you want to go. Have you ever just woken up out of sleep, thought to go Tristan de Cunha, the most remote place on Earth, jumped out of bed and head straight there. I can almost conclude you will find this to be the most difficult task, if you don’t fail.

Why? Because failure to Plan is Planning to Fail. That Simple.
What do I need to get to my destination?
What happens if I stumble?
What happens if I don’t feel up to it any more?
What happens if people are not happy for me?
What happens on a day not going according to plan?
5 VISUALISE the change
I cannot stress enough the importance of using your imagination. See yourself as though you have already attained your goal. How was the journey? What do you look like? How do you feel? What are you wearing? Every day in bed before sleeping and as you wake up. See the finished product. Become obsessed with this journey and image so much that you day dream about it.

6 Check in every week to reflect.
What has gone right and what has gone wrong? Commend yourself for doing well. Reward yourself. You are awesome for doing this! If you fail, identify why, forgive yourself and don’t repeat, VISUALISE, GET UP NOW, TRY AGAIN. Fall down 7 times get up 8 times. Realise that you are not the first to fail and certainly not the last. It is normal. What is not normal is people who don’t give up. Be the special person who did not give up, remembering what it means to keep standing on hot fiery coals.
7. Remember
Thank God for the process and the progress, continue to ask for strength and direction. He never fails.
