Great for: Perfect Sandy beaches. Friendly people. I would move there TODAY given the opportunity. It reminds me of my home, Zimbabwe, except it is surrounded by water and the economy is way more stable.
Bad for: Nothing so far. No that’s a lie. Do Not go in rainy season. It will rain and rain, and rain and rain, Heavy rain, for hours, especially if you live further north. St George’s closer to the popular beaches is better, but generally speaking, avoid rainy season.
Also: Mosquitoes, Sand flies, will have you for dinner if you don’t put repellent on. Take the strongest repellent.
Love: ‘Our beach’, under the tree, where my husband proposed. Right on what seems to be the end of the world.
